This past December, I formed a studio with an illustrious roster of cartoonists in Gowanus Brooklyn. Becky Cloonan, Steve Ellis, Jason Little, Vasilis Lolos, George O’Connor, Kat Roberts and I have finally settled on a name for the studio, now affectionately called, Hugs & Kisses! The name came about as these things often do, as a joke. We tried to create a supportive, productive and fun environment and somehow these utopian ideals garnered the little jabbing name. Now it’s two months later and I am proud to announce the coming of Hugs & Kisses! Excelsior!
