Finder Wins Best Digital Comic!

finder

My sincerest congratulations go out to Carla Speed McNeil! Her webcomic, Finder, won Best Digital Comic at this year's Eisner Awards! Since I didn't attend SDCC this year, the above image from Finder best captures my mental image of the ceremony. Since my webcomic, Vs., did not win, I guess I'll just politely stand in the back. That's me third from the left. Huzzah! Go read it here!

Act-i-vate Primer Announced…well, sort of?

Act-i-vate Primer

As many of you already know, San Diego Comic-con is currently stoking a clamorous cacophony of consumer cattle calls and blockbuster broo-ha-ha's. Well, today IDW held their panel chock full of announcements and coming-soon enticements. Unfortunately, the scheduled Act-i-vate Primer announcement did not happen and yet the above image made it to Comic Book Resources' coverage of the event. So, I'm just going ahead and holding my own little bit of hoopla here to help promote this book. Above is the Primer cover with illustration by Nick Bertozzi and logo design by yours truly. I'll have more sneaky peeks as we get closer to the books release.
