Although there may be moral reservations about this character, what he represents to the Tarot is the value of all that is repressed and denied. Lux Interior, vocalist of The Cramps stands tall as The Devil himself, flanked by his partner, Poison Ivy Rorschach, and bandmate, Nick Knox. The Cramps oozed smoldering adolescent sexuality through campy b-movie horror/sci-fi lyrics and steely rock-a-billy guitars. To audiences at the time, such an improbable blend of influences may have defied logic, but logic couldn't deny it rocked! Only through deviation can a new and innovative form be realized. By suppressing parts of yourself, you become fractured between what you perceive is good vs. what you think is bad. If you can accept yourself as a whole of both good and bad then you will know your gifts for the world.
