The Process

The Process was my first major foray into comics. I had previously completed Mandala and wanted to expand it to include how my life and existence informed and interweaved with that world. The result is the following 31 pages presented here as a document of my imagination/writing and art in 2007-08. Some of the original files have been lost to hard drive failures and are only available here as smaller, lower resolution jpgs. Looking back on it, I was firing on all cylinders artistically and imaginatively, but as is my problem, the writing could use some preplanning. The pages were only plotted a few in advance with a much larger narrative as a goal. I would not approach a project in this way again but I am still surprised by these pages almost 15 years later.
